1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Cancun Vacation Experts, including bookings, reservations, tours, and related services. By accessing our website (www.cancunvacationexperts.com) or booking with Cancun Vacation Experts (operated by Cancun Local Expert S.A. de C.V.), you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree, please refrain from using our website or services.

2. Booking and Reservations

Reservation Process:

• Bookings must be made through our website or by contacting customer service.

• Payment is required at the time of booking unless specified otherwise.

• Upon booking, you will receive an email confirmation. Please review it and contact us immediately for corrections.

                                   Cancellation and Modification Policy:

• Regular Shared Tours 

 Cancellations Made 24 Hours in Advance: Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure. 

 Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows: No refunds for same-day cancellations or failure to arrive on time.

 Missed Departures: No refunds for missed tours due to lateness or arriving at the wrong location.

 Force Majeure or Weather-Related Cancellations: Tours may be rescheduled based on availability.

 Refunds offered only if rescheduling is not possible.

Regular Tour Packages:

• Cancellation fees are determined based on the specific activity policies.

• Refunds will be processed after deducting the costs of completed activities at their regular retail rate..

• Private Tours:

Weather and Force Majeure Events:

 Severe weather or unforeseen events: Full refund or reschedule.

Light rain or cloudy conditions: No refunds or changes allowed.

 Advance Cancellations:

 72+ hours before service: 20% cancellation fee.

 48–72 hours before service: 50% cancellation fee.

 24 hours or less: 100% cancellation fee (no refunds).

 Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows: No refunds for cancellations on the day of the tour or failure to arrive at the meeting point.

 Xcaret Tours 

 Standard single tour reservations:

 Cancellations made more than two days in advance incur a 10% administrative fee.

 Cancellations within two days or no-shows: Non-refundable.

 Date Changes: Allowed with potential price adjustments.

 Same-day changes not permitted.

Xcaret Tour Packages:

 Non-cancellable and non-refundable.

3. Tour Services

Availability and Changes:

• Tours are subject to availability and may be altered or canceled due to weather, operational issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

• In case of cancellation, an alternative tour or refund will be offered where applicable.

Duration and Requirements:

• Tour durations are estimates and may vary.

• Participants must meet age, health, or physical condition requirements specified for the tour. Non-compliance may result in refusal of service without refund.

Health and Safety:

• Follow all safety instructions during tours. Cancun Vacation Experts is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from non-compliance.

4. Pricing and Fees

Price Changes:

• Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking is final.

Included and Excluded Services:

• Prices generally include transportation, guide services, and entrance fees unless otherwise noted.

• Additional services not listed as included may incur extra charges.

Taxes:

• Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Limitation of Liability:

• Cancun Vacation Experts is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delays due to factors beyond our control, including weather, mechanical issues, or actions of third parties.

Travel Insurance:

• Customers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, or other unexpected events.

Force Majeure:

• Cancun Vacation Experts is not liable for inability to perform services due to events such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
